I write for a Britain-based student news journal, Affairs Today. As part of my work for the publication, this past August I was fortunate to interview Richard Preston, the author of The Hot Zone, a nonfiction thriller about an Ebola outbreak in Reston, Virginia in the 1980s. Now covering the current West African Ebola outbreak for the New Yorker, Richard Preston discussed his current work as well as his past interest with the disease.
