American Nations in the News: NPR Interviews Colin Woodard

So, today NPR interviewed Colin Woodard, author of the book American Nations: The Eleven Rival Nations of North America. You can read/listen to their story, and you can read my essay on his book if you follow the links below. Note: this book has been around since 2011, my essay came out three months ago (pretty slow by publication standards), and finally NPR gets around to highlighting this important work of sociology and history. Whatever, as long as people hear about it, it’s a win-win. After all, we need Colin Woodard to write more books.
